A British expat has been jailed for five years by the Paphos Criminal Court after being found guilty of sex attacks against a girl of 11.
The Briton will serve his sentence at the Nicosia Central Prisons.
The 59-year-old man had previously been found of charges relating to statutory rape of a minor and indecent assault against a minor. He was, however, found not guilty of three other similar charges.
The offences had been committed between July 2014 and August 2015 in a Paphos village where the victim and her attacker both lived.
