Drive-by shooter damages luxury Chloraka car

Police in Paphos are investigating a shooting in a residential area after determining that damage to a luxury car in Chloraka had been caused by gunfire.

Police were notified by a 23-year-old security guard from Chloraka at 0:30 on Friday morning as he was preparing to go to work, that his car had been damaged.

Officers arriving at the scene determined that the damage to the rear light and side mirror of the 23-year-old’s luxury car were caused by gun shots.

Following investigations and according to witness accounts a single shot from what appears to be a hunting gun was heard at around 5:30-6:00 on Thursday morning.
