Cars damaged in repair shop arson attack

Police suspect arson to be behind a fire that caused extensive damage to five cars at a motor repair ship in Limassol.

The fire broke out just before 9pm on in the industrial area of Ipsonas resulting in a total of five cars sustaining damage. According to investigations by police and the Electromechanical Services, it appears that the blaze was started deliberately.

The 31-year-old owner of the repair shop has told investigators that he does not suspect anyone.
