Burglars steal safe and cash from Pegeia home

Not content with just taking its contents, burglars made off with an entire safe from a Pegeia, Paphos home.

According to the police, the home’s owner, a British national, said the break-in must have occurred between 7.30pm and 10.20pm on Monday. The safe contained €1,200 and £115 Sterling.

Police officers investigating the scene determined the burglars entered the hours through an upstairs balcony. The doors had been closed but not locked.

Investigations are continuing.
