Police are searching for a bank employee accused of stealing €102,000 from a friend’s account.
According to Limassol CID chief Yiannis Soteriades, a complaint has been made by a 61-year-old former bank employee who says she entrusted her 53-year-old friend with managing her bank account.

However, when checking her account last year she was told only €1,000 remained of the some €103,000 she had anticipated.
The woman immediately confronted her friend who promised to return every cent, something she has, however, not done, prompting the victim to go the police.
